As part of my AI exploration, I tried to fully utilize AI to generate code. Until I finish this coding, I didn’t realize that there was name for this coding approach – Vibe Coding.

This coding project is to generate a web tool to help student for word spelling and dictation. I knew student won’t like it:) This tool is simple enough when using and no need further clarification.

The experience of vibe coding is unique:

First, I didn’t expect AI can generate a working code in the first attempt. But it did!

Second, AI do have the ability to troubleshoot the issue if developer can be patient enough to provide error messages and clues to AI. Sometimes, it needs multiple times to enable AI to fix the bug.

Third, there are some issues that AI cannot resolve and need manual trouble shooting. In my coding project, AI failed to understand why some codes cannot run in Android browser.
